Studies are showing that brain training such as consistently playing online brain games can have profound effects on our mental capacity, regardless of age, and even repair damage. A severe lack of brain exercise and even stressful experiences however can limit the brain.

A nationwide clinical trial called ACTIVE (Advanced Cognitive Training for Independent and Vital Elderly) showed that 87 percent of the participants in speed training had increases in cognitive ability, as did 74 percent of participants in reasoning training, and 26 percent of those in memory training. The training effects continued through 24 months, especially for the participants who received additional training.

Exposing our brain to mental activities such as online brain games, reading, remembering important events, running errands and simply remembering where you last placed your keys are important to keep up as you grow older. Otherwise as you grow older you wouldn’t find those once simple tasks so simple any longer.

The key point here again is to keep your brain active with online brain games.
