A recent study in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences found that a particular memory game called Dual N-Back may actually improve a persons short term memory. The study indicates that by regularly playing the Dual N-Back game, it may be possible to increase almost anyone’s IQ (or more accurately, gF), which was previously thought to be unchangeable.
The Dual N-Back game involves remembering both a sequence of spoken letters AND a sequence of positions of a square at the same time, hence the term “Dual” in the game name. The “N” refers to how many sequences back you remember.

my IQ before is 90-109 but now is 119-131 after training with Brainworkshop Dual N Back task non Jaeggi mode 19 days-25 minutes minimum.

I’m not too much of a fan for a puzzle-genre games but this game is actually pretty interesting lol.
Hey, any way I can improve my memory and boost my mental capacity, I’m in! Games like this are so beneficial. It’s too bad they aren’t part of a regular school curriculum.
Yeah Dual N Back does require you to exercise your brain to recall the sequence and if i am not wrong there is similar technique called mindmap where you need to relate the things to some object and then remember it. the game is different of course.
